Reverend Sara E. Sadler
Lead Pastor
Sara was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but grew up in a Maryland suburb of Washington, D.C., and spent all of her life in the Washington, D.C., area before coming to New Florence.
Sara attended Towson University (2004-2009) as a music major before taking a break to discern God’s call for her and her life. She graduated from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, in 2018 cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion and a minor in History. She then attended Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, and graduated in 2021 with a Master of Divinity with a specialization in Public Theology.
Pastor Sara is a lifelong Presbyterian who has served in the church in various roles, including Ruling Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Confirmation Mentor, Handbell Choir, and Sanctuary Choir member, in addition to guest preaching. She served as the Director of Youth Ministries at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Herndon, Virginia. She is excited to be serving as an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament at Trinity Presbyterian Church in New Florence, Pennsylvania.
Sara lives in The Manse next door to the church. She has two very adorable “fur kids” named Clark and Cayden. She’s a big sports fan, rooting for The Nationals, The Pirates, The Steelers, The Commanders, The Capitals, and The Orioles! She’s a fan of comedy and drama tv shows and movies and is a big reader. More often than not, you’ll find her on the porch of The Manse on a nice day with the dogs and reading a book.

Tricia is in the church office Wednesday and Thursday 11:00am till 4:00pm. She has as church secretary since 2021, and considers it a blessing to be able serve the members of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
